Looking for feedback if anyone has purchased these lights
the only thing they don't tell you is how crappy the light is coming out of the unit.
Pass
ohlordif you want t ospend ten percent of the value of the car on headlights get the depos and follow the instructions on installing the good projectors by zam.
i agree on the projector DIY, it's not as difficult as you might think, especially if you start with lights that have some sort of projector in them already...

Drop some more change on some ballasts and RS6 projectors and you have yourself a very decent set of headlights for much less than OEM at the dealer.

i would say the only thing idk about is condensation. it might fog up idk though.

This is just a depo, eagle eyes or whatever headlight fitted with a 25 dollar HID kit. you can do this yourself for half the price and get the same crappy light output.
use 400 dollars and a weekend on depo + bi-xenon e55 or something instead

Hopefully they will give me better light output.
I'll post pix when I get them.

Light before, and after, and what they look like on the car (one each old and new)

One thing I learned, pull the turn signal bulb out before trying to remove the old lights, I ended up snapping one off because I could not figure out what was getting hung up. The passenger side came right out with no issue with the turn signal bulb pulled.
The black housing is pretty sharp, so far, I'm happy I got them

The black housing on my black car is an amazing improvement. the lights look as sharp as can be. Having seen the improvement in my car with the black housing and at least one car with housings painted matching designo white, I recommend that Mercedes make matching light housings an option. I really don't like all that chrome in the gigantic lights on the newer models. It takes away from the Grille which is the Mercedes Trade Mark.
Going from the old glow lamps to the projectors takes some getting used to, for one thing, turning 90 degree corners in the dark is an act of faith. I suggest using the fogs as drive lights. The side to side visibility is shockingly reduced. I now understand why all the car makers are going to corner turning lights.
I drove it today for 9 hours (470 miles) in the driving rain. The projectors are rock solid with absolutely no wobble to them like I have seen in some cheap replacements or self made projectors. The matching Anzo LED tails (bought and installed at the same time) had no moisture, the head lamps had no moisture, but the highbeam/marker lamps both had condensation half way up the lenses.
Apparently like any other replica headlights, its worth the effort to run a bead of caulk around them to be sure they are sealed tight.
But
They are still gorgeous

B.good quality projectors. Are an oxymoron.
C.Spend the $800 bucks or so to build a set following the directions and find out.
Or spend even more and locate and have coded to the car a set of factory xenons.
