Help quick! - Best Tire recomendation for E430 - W210?
My friend is getting new tires and a les schwab shop is telling him he should get Toyo Proxies... but we want the opinion you you fine people.

S-Class owner with an E-Class friend.

any help appreciated.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Costco
michelin pilot a/s,they can order them.

Buy a summer tire unless you need an all-season. The Michelin Pilot Primacy is a good tire, and yes, from Costco.

MIchelin Pilot A/S are LOUD AS HELL.

jesus what a noisy tire.

I'll take my rock hard Yokohama AVID H4s over them any day.

I hear good things about Michelin and Toyo(though they had a recent recall so watchout)

I recently changed all four of my tires to Continental Sport--these look sick and have amazing handling

they discontinued the ones that came stock...these replaced them..and are rated at higher speeds!

They are a bit expensive..around $100/tire

but worth it.

Hope this helps. Enjoy the W210.

I have General Exclaim UHP's on my car. Probably the most underrated tire out there. People complain about road noise, but if you keep the air pressure correct, you cant even notice. It's when the air pressure gets low that they start to amplify road noise. The tread pattern is cool, the wet/dry traction is good all across the board, and I got all 4 mounted/balanced/etc. for $610 at Discount Tire.
