What really matters is that your happy. And I don't want to offend you. However from my personal perspective I would have stuck with your original wheels. The W210 has a beauty and an elegance in its original form. While I understand the need to make individual modifications I don't quite understand modifying the car to look like an asian import. Maybe I am just to old to get it.

no man, Im 24 and I feel the same way. The 210 is such an elegant design. I don't understand why people feel the need to put 20s on it, body kits, etc. Its not a race car or even a sports car. Its a family saloon. Something like a 203 C class is more a car that can be riced.
I guess its just what happens when these cars fall below a certain price point.

Thanks fellas
Thanks for the comments guys. I am quite happy with my new wheels and i just didnt want to have the stock look anymore, so i went just a lil different. Didnt want the polished lip since its sort of played out and chrome is too. I actually removed the emblems since my car isnt an AMG, so i dont want to be a "poser", just thought it looked clean haha.
I appreciate the opinions but i hate how people like Oliverk and Ohlord just love to talk bad about other member's cars . Oliverk, you said my car is not a race car, i think everyone on this dam forum knows that . Oh yea and since when are my wheels ricey? I do not have anything ricey on my car just for your information, no body kit, no neon lights and definately no aftermarket "racing modifications". I wanted a sport "look" and thats what i went for . So do us all a favor and keep your stupid un-informative comments to yourself.

E50
E50 AMG
The E50 was only produced 2 years 1996 and 1997 even though all were considered model year 1997.
Production Figures: ~2,870 (production models).
which his is not and to his credit he said he has debadged it since the pics were taken. No more poser, just a little ricey

explicit...
when you make a post such as this one, you are asking for comments. You will get some favorable, and some unfavorable.
ohlord basically said that the wheels look nice; his comments on the "badge engineering" reflect his perspective.
I would not say that the wheels look "ricey," but Oliverk is entitled to his opinion as well. Frankly, and I usually avoid posting to threads like this, the car IMHO looked a lot better before the wheel swap; however, that is just me, and it it not my car...
If negative comments bother you so much, then perhaps on the next thread you should indicate "positive comments only, please..."

I said
I liked the wheels. Those thin sidewall tires look out of place that's all.
The comment about San Jose was not saying anything bad about it,those big rims and low profile tires are a matter of survival down there

ah... the w210 is now in that awkward place between being affordable to the young buyer who wants to hook up his ride, and older owner who is still trying to hold onto the prestige and memory of his car like it's worth what he paid for it 10 years ago.
unfortunately history has proven that the tide cannot be stemmed, so get used to seeing more personaliztion and less boring monotony.

fake rivets=ricey
Why you want a sport look on a car that isn't sporty, Im not sure.
un-informative comments? you asked for opinions, not informative posts.
Zed style, there is a way to modify a car in a tasteful way (which btw, I thought the S55 wheels fit).
These wheels resemble my spare wheel more than they do anything tasteful.

Keep doing what you're doin.
I think its a guy thing to make our vehicle our own. My wife didnt want any mods other than tinted windows.
Not certain if played out yet But I would have powder coated them the same color as your car.
Keep it up.

Obviously you do not really have a sense of style. And since you seem to know so much, then maybe you should understand that people have different styles and tastes.
Also, a car does not have to be a sports car in order to have a sport look, haha.
To this day i have not seen any good contribution to this forum and if you have, your bad comments out weigh the good. All you do is talk **** dude, im starting to think you are angry at the world. Were you punked as a child? Bullied? haha
Im done with you man.... Waste of time

Thanks man, im glad some people can see beyond "keeping the original prestigious look" and personalizing their vehicle to a way of their own. BTW your car looks great dude.
