Code P0335??

So I did not take it to work and left home.
This evening I started the car and it ran fine.
CEL was still on. So I used OBII scanner and read the code and it was P0335.
Any one know what is P0335 is for on W210??
Ohlord any suggestion?
unusual code though, check the wires going to the crank sensor.Make sure the clip is on and dry.Has it been raining and the sensor had water dripping on it?
If all looks good, clear the code and see if the condition repeats. If it does new cps is an easy install
autohausaz.com about 70 bucks and diy on benzword.org w210 diy section.

Ohlord or some one can look the photo and confirm that I am looking at the right sensor.
Ohlord I removed the connector from CPS and check and all looks dry and tight. Althogh it started after we had again power car wash.
I think I will stop going to this touch less power car wash place. Every time I go I get some codes and CEL.
Any one know what size of Allen Ranch I will need to take sensor off. Is it matrics or english?

Another good diy is over on mercedesshop.com
Talked a single mom and her 12 year old son through the diy last week so op should be able to handle it
bright flashlight and using the hood vertical release tab is the key to making it easier.

I just got this code too. My car is sitting at Bartel's at the moment. I am trying to orient myself in the pix above- am I looking at the forward passenger side of the engine compartment from above?
Thanks,
Greg
Got nothing but good to say. Read and follow his advice. It will save you $$$$
Press the hood release tab up by the pass side windsheild so the hood tilts all the way up.Have a good flashlight and you look like you located it down on the bell housing and towards the back of the engine. It will take some twisting to get at it but you will

do you have the part yet?makes it easier to see how it all fits if you have the new part in hand.

One question, why your profile is displaying "ON PROBATION", what in the world is going on here.
We had a great time this morning with Raymond,Jon,and John and myself doing the spark plug tutorial.Great to meet those members look at some cool mods and get a bunch of new plugs into some needy m112 engines. One had 130000 miles and the gaps were off by about .oo6 but they still had a good burn pattern and besides the heat which almost made me pass out
we had a blast.Next I'm going to put on a polish and wax clinic to really make these cars show car shine.
