E430 4matic 2001 & ML430 2000 both Silver / Ash
New toy. E430 4matic - all options loaded
Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. I have been a member since 2003 and found many useful information.
I recently sold my 2000 E320 and bought a 2001 Silver, charcoal gray inside, E430 4matic with every possible option. It is AZ car with no rust, no paint job, no accidents. Car has 90K miles on it but runs and shifts solid.
The car has everything; Navigation, Parktronic, Xenon, Voice Activation, Telephone (missing phone), Tele Aid, Multi Contour Seats, Ventilated Front Seats, Rear Sun shade, Rain Sensor and more...
I like this car and I will keep it.
Just wanted to share this with you.
Any inputs welcome.

Congrats... nice to see a fully loaded E430. Where in FL are you? Just to be safe - check sunroof tray, rear deck lid near trunk handle, rockers, and under the seals on all the doors - to make sure you don't have any bubbling or corrosion. MB had some problems with this... I'm curious, how much did you get this beauty for?

I have checked the car entirely (areas you mentioned as well) no rust or bubble. I got it on ebay. Buy it now was around $14.000. After bargaining for a while we settled at $12.500 including shipping from AZ to FL.
I think this is a very good deal. I have not seen an E430 with all these options in the USA yet.
The car needed nothing. But I did change the oil & filter. (Mobil 0-40 $6.00 per quart, $16.00 OEM filter)
I live right by the Cape Canaveral Space Center (Satellite Beach) One minute walking distance from the Atlantic Ocean. We can hear the waves! But, thank God I have a garage to keep the cars in.
We are moving back to Virginia very soon (DC area) I won't be worrying about corrosion due to being very close to the ocean anymore.

Not bad at all for that negotiated price. I know exactly where Satellite Beach is... I'm older now so longboarding is the thing for me, but many years ago I used to shortboard at 2nd light (next to PAFB), the inlet at Sebastian, and even at Cocoa Beach pier! And by Perkins' when it used to be there...
At least when you go back to VA. - that front license plate holder will be put to use since I believe front plates are required there. Otherwise, I'd recommend for you to remove it completely. With 90k miles, time to change the tranny filter & fluid as well (and put on a new tranny mount). This preventive maintenance isn't too expensive at all, even if you brought it to an indy.

Tranny filter and oil is in my to do list. I wanto do it myself. Thank you for the recomondation.
Thebenzbar You are right about the front plate in VA. That's why I kept the holder there. (By the way I am only a couple of miles south of PAFB right by the water. I have been enjoying the fresh air here for two years. )

Congrats on the E430 4-Matic! What a great looking car it is. Hope you enjoy it for years to come . Our service rep here in Atlanta says the 210 body is the best thing Mercedes has made in the last 20 years. BTW, i miss Florida!

Wow, that's nice to hear for us humble "W210" owners... The W210 represents a breakthrough, progression, and transformation for MB in many different ways. And we all now every MB chassis/model has its own faults including the W210, but any reasons you can think of on why he said that to you?

Thank you. The more I drive this monster the more I feel like keeping it. It has everything one needs from a car. I can't wait to see how it will behave in the snow since we are moving back to VA. This is one of the main reasons why I got 4matic. But hey with all these features I could live without the 4matic option.

2001 E320 RWD - Brilliant Silver/Ash: 100,000+
Congratulations Ozcan. I have been looking a long time for a loaded post-facelift E430 and they seem to be as scarce as hen's teeth. I was only able to find one, not quite as loaded as yours if I recall correctly, and some woman had a deposit on it because she wanted to see what the bone interior looked like in person. As it turned out, the woman bought it.

I just bought a set of used but good condition AMG wheels today with 235/45/17 original size tires required for the E430. They look and drive nice.
I will try to post some pictures.
I wish you good luck on your hunt. I had been looking for a while. They are hard to find. I wonder what is the production ratio for fully loaded E430 versus standard E430. 1 to 100? 1 to 500?

You are my next door neighbor. I am in Satellite Beach. Right next to the PAFB. I also drive thru Merritt Island when returning from Cocoa Beach area.

Thank you. I was looking for one of these for a while.

I think this is a very good deal. I have not seen an E430 with all these options in the USA yet.
The car needed nothing. But I did change the oil & filter. (Mobil 0-40 $6.00 per quart, $16.00 OEM filter)

We are moving back to Virginia very soon (DC area) I won't be worrying about corrosion due to being very close to the ocean anymore.
