Idling Help!
Hey im new to mbworld,I just had a quick question for you. I have a 1996 E-320 it has 158K its been a good car unfortunatly I started to have a major problem i believe. When I put the car in Park or stop the motor will start to idle like crazy it will go from 0-2rpm non stop till i change gears in then it will continue to do it but not as much. This happends on and off. I would really appreciate it if you can help me out I would like to fix it my self if its not a major problem. please help me I dont want my car to screw up. Thank you.

When they
get dirty or a bit out of range the codes are usually the fuel trim codes on both banks of cylinders.The p0101 circuit range code is most likely a bad maf circuit so firdt make sure it is plugged in and that the wires are in good shape if they are then a new maf (not ebay) from autohausaz,com will solve the problem.

always a good idea to check all other systems at the same time,clear the code and see what codes return.Check all the spark plug connectors to be sure you have no misfires.
