What do you think of these wheels on a E430?

Hi,

What do you all think of these wheels? They are 17" wheels from a W211, I think a sport model. I saw these for sale on craigslist and photoshopped the picture into these photos of E430's. They look a little gold in these photos but are actually silver. I can't decide whether they are any more attractive than the stock wheels, though.

Thanks,
Fred

A Mercedes obviously!
Stock.

The gold reminds me of those rapper you see with gold grilles/grillz or whatever they're called.

I'd actually have those stock wheels for my E320....

The offset is different for W211 and W210 wheels, and they always look a bit off. You are much better off finding W210 fitment wheels that you like.

E430 sport wheels...

The gold wheels you have in your post don't look right on the 210 body.

I've had these E430 17 inch sport wheels for 3 years. I'll probably post the E430 sport wheels in the classified once I get my new monoblocks installed.

He said they

just look gold in photoshop, they are polished silver.W211 rims will fit fine with the W211 ET all you will need is the proper lugs from rad/otis about 50 bucks for the set of 20.Mono's are timeless and suit the curves of the W210.The spoked rims Look nicer on lowered springs. It is up to your taste

I have to agree with ohlord that the stock rims look better than these spoked rims. I was tempted because I saw the set of four on Craigslist for only $350. I'm not real crazy about the rims that come on the E430, though. They look like Monos but not quite and at 17", look a bit small for the car. I was thinking about real 18" monos but am not sure how they would look without the E55/Sport body trim. I might keep my eye out for a set of Sport model wheels which do look good on the standard body.

Thanks to all who responded to this thread.

I like the ones in your picture. They look sort of like sport wheels. What model are they from?
Thanks,

the Monoblocks look great on all mercedes , they actually suit the w210 the best (even the 17 monoblock that came with my e420 sport looked great). They look very good on cars even without the sport package as well.

I would also Recommend the Lorinser Fm 5 style wheels look great. Heres a brand new set of 18's for $400 , 19's for $450 located in cali ,

2000 W210 E55// 2007 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner
I'd go with E63 or W211 E55 wheels with the proper lugs. The W211 guys sell these all the time....or these wheels Peter used to have they're E63 style...they sell them on ebay

I like the ones in posts #8, 13 & 9, in that order. Can anyone tell me what model the ones in post #8 are from?

Thanks,

Fred
