Debating between E320 4Matic or E430 4Matic

Any pros and cons? I know the motor differences and gas, but is there any other differences?

2002 E430 4MATIC
Tire/wheel sizes are different. For pure all weather performance my guess is the narrower 16" tires on the E320 would be marginally better in snow, rain, ice. For sure you will have a broader selection of tires and at lower cost.

Aside from the performance/economy tradeoff, probably not much. I think features like Bose sound and full leather are standard on the 430 but optional on the 320 but any 320 with 4matic would likely be pretty well optioned. I don't think there's much price premium for the 430 any more so your preference for the performance of the v8 or the economy of the v6 AND especially the condition of the car would be the deciding factors.

430 no doubt. Power is there when you need it. And the 320 rims are hilarious.

Gas mileage is minor compared to the extra 50hp.

Anybody want my 17" sport rims + Michelins? Still available.

I have and e430 4matic.. My buddy has and e320 4matic.. I have driven both cars in bad weather and the e320 is better.. the ride in the e320 is smoother but I think that has a lot to do with the 16" rims and wider side walls on the tires.. I would probably take a 320 over my 430 if i had the choice today...
