The panel to change the temps and stuff isn't lit up anymore. In order to set the interior temps at night I need to turn on the doom light to see it. Is there a simple fix to get it to back light again?

its one bulb and its in a simple twist and lock base located at the bottom of the climate control unit

For the last couple months, my climate control backlight would not come on initially. After a couple light taps, the light would come on. Only in the last week has the light stopped working altogether. Indicative of a bad bulb or possible a loose connection?
