Intrument Cluster, Fog Lights & Lamp Malfunction
How hard is it to replace a cluster light!! I would like to do it myself if possible... Also does anyone knows what light bulb do I need for a front fog light??? It went out and I couldn't find the info for it in the manual.
It rained very hard for a long time where I live this morning, and while I was driving trying to get home the malfunction for a lamp turned on(lots of water on the road), once I got home and checked the lights one of the low beams was out. So I did all the necessary to replace it but once I did it and started the car the message was still there...Any thoughts!!!!! checked the burn lightblub again and it was working fine.

To check lamps:
-Take out the key and restart the engine.
- At P position, press brake, if nothing,
- release brake, indicate left, then right,
- shift to reverse gear, then P again,
- park lamp left, right,
- low beam, headlamp,
- front fog lamp, rear fog lamp
- high beam
If all ok, probably short circuit due to the rain the previous day.

You'll probably need specific bulbs for the cluster, not readily available from an auto parts store. The Mercedes bulbs are slightly different in size from standard. You're best bet is probably to buy a bag of 10 or more bulbs online.
