steps for headlight removal on 2001
Hi,
I am trying to replace those rubber seals on the headlight. I know that they can be purchased as a seperate part.
However, before I buy them, I need to know that I can remove the headlights without taking off the entire bumper.
I see that there are 3 bolts that are visible. Are there any other mounting points that I should know about? Also, what direction do I pull? Up or out?
Thanks. I searched the forum, and got a lot of hits about headlight conversions and such, but no steps on how to take out the headlight assembly.

The 2000+ cars require the bumper to be removed. It's actually not that hard to remove the bumper.
When I swapped my lights for xenons I followed Peter_02AMG's DIY and it was pretty easy to follow.
