i got a cruise control problem

i got a cruise control problem

hello

my 2000 e430 cruise controls stop working, it wont engage
i tried to engage or accel it just wont hold....

any suggestions ???

i have a leak on 1 of my vacuum pump at the rear driverside door.. the lock wont unluck if i unluck the door .... is that culprit why my cruise control not working ???

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.

vacuum is controlled off of engine vacuum not PSE vacuum that controls doors etc.
Look for a broken engine vac line and if it happened all of a sudden check all your tire presures a very low tire can prevent use,
lastly cc module could have failed or S40 cc switch on steering hub . Sds scan will point that out.
