Fog Light Nuclear Meltdown! (pics)
Gees, it's been a bad month.... Since I just had to replace my radiator, I had the bottom engine covers off of the car. Today I went to put them back on. And since I had a foglight bulb that was burned out, I figured this was a good time to replace it.....before I put the lower bumper cover back on. So, I go and buy a new bulb thinking it would be a simple bulb replacement. Not so much.
I couldnt even get the bulb out of the socket. It was all melted together. How the heck does this happen? Anyways, does anyone know the part number of the socket/wiring harness for this that I obviously need to replace? Thanks.

The dealer sells the upgraded fog harness
it is a known problem unit. When you fix it install selective yellow fog bulbs from www.danielsternlighting.com for better vis in fog and a cool euro look.

like it states so yes it will work. But do not install higher watt bulbs in the fogs.Fogs you want gentle light not power light. That is why the oe bulb or the euro spec yellow from www.danielsternlighting work so well in the rain snow fog.

Do you have the part number for the upgraded harness, I calledthe local dealership last week and the guy said that they didn't had anything like that but the entire electrical harness, and it ran $750.00. A little too much just to try and get our fog lights working again!!!!

How did you get the parts, I need one as well. I actually removed the bulb replaced it worked for 2 days then it went out again. Now even with a new bulb the light won't even come on, giving me a malfunction whenever I turned my fog lights on. I don't know what happen
Thanks
