HELP! Guage Cluster Dilemma
So as most W210s(Es) and W208s(CLKs) have the guage cluster issue of the pixels, so does mine. After looking around for about 2 years for a decent used one I just got one off of a W208 (CLK) that fits and wires up to my W210 (E) except for one issue, the fuel indicator seems to be working in the opposite direction (when the tank is emptying, it indicates E-->F, not F-->E). Anyone have a fix for this that has done the same interchange of clusters between the two models? Such as cutting the wires and reversing them? Thanks!

Why not a
w210 cluster?
You can get them vin range numbered and they will work.
The tank sender is different and I don't think reversing polarity is going to take care of it.
If you try all that will happen is it will work or it will fry.
Used vin matched w210 cluster will work it will just show the donor car miles.
Did you try the pixel fix solution?

Works in a lot of cases when done properly has saved or restored a lot of pixel dead clusters.
