Another BAS, ESP, ABS problem...
Also make sure the bs in installed fully and properly.
Also car running in park and turn the wheel lock to lock and back several times,if that is not what you were doing (just in case)
here is what fixed mine (from this thread):
After trying the brake light switch to no avail, I had the codes scanned at a local indy shop and the lateral acceleration sensor had thrown a code. This module is part of the ESP system and is located under the carpet beneath the driver's seat. Believe it or not Mercedes wants > $2K for this module! I found it on a German used parts website for < 50 Euros
I finally got it replaced today and the annoying beeps and lights are gone
It's MB part number 000 542 65 18.
good luck!<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message -->

This one of the common reasons according to another MB forum, and this is what fixed my BAS/ESP/ABS problem.
My battery was suposedly fine while it started first showing those errors. Even the Autozone tester said it was good. But two months later I almost couldn't start my car and decided to replace the battery. The BAS/ESP/ABS lights haven't lighted up at all after that.
I had exactly the same problem with the same message coming up, and after trying everything with everyone's help I took it to the dealer and found out that Break Booster was not functioning properly.
