we are less likely to know the specs of the CLS rim....though more likely to
know the w210 specs/needs. so it may be helpful if you dug up the relevant
specs and dimensions of the rims you're interested in and get back with them

Fronts are 18x8.5 et25mm offset model #'s A219-401-1102. Front tires are P-Zero 255-40-zr18. The back wheels are 18x9.5 et28mm offset..The back wheel model #'s are 209-401-1202. Tire size is 285-38-zr18. Will I need wheel spacers?

they wont fit at all if you were to use tires with w210 recommended rolling
distances. no, spacers wont correct the fitment because spacers are used
if the ET is on the high/deep side such as 42 e.g.
your rims, plus tire will extend well outside the wheel well....like mud tires on a truck

the 211 split spoke AMG rims are what i have on mine. you can go about 265
35-18 in rear, and about 235-40-18 in front. you may need to roll/flatten
the lip inside the wheel arch.
you will need to purchase new set of lug bolts. 210 uses 12mm dia. bolts w/
12 radius ball seat. whereas the 211 rims uses 14mm dia. bolts with 14mm
radius ball seat. you will need to source hybrid bolts which are 12mm in dia-
meter, but with the larger 14 ball seat.
the length of the new bolts will also need to be shorter. i didn't memorize
what you will need but it is either .75' or 1". will check after work.
in the meantime, you can search this forum for the words "RAD" and or "OTIS"
as vendors of the hybrid bolts

from a couple of years back. dont recall at what stage of lowering this was, as
i was trying different springs and pads. currently it is about another .75" lower
at both ends. doing another spring swap this weekend using progressive wound
eibachs. hopefully my last.
the rims came with 265-35 rear, and 245-40 front. even with rolled lip in front,
I still experienced tire shredding so went with smaller front. so you should go
with 235 with that low, ET30. rear was fine.

mmm....today, it's a 1 finger gap in front, and 1.5 finger in rear. it's a little
lower than I like, since i'm not a slammin kind of guy. after the eibachs go
on in a week or so, we'll see what happens.
over past 3+ yrs, i tried...
thinner pads all around, then
voigtland lowering springs, then
cut OEM springs (cut 1.25" front, 1" rear), then
eibachs coming this weekend.

progressive wound springs just arrived today. wont have time to swap out
springs until mid May due to work schedule. it wont be lowered anymore
than the pic above as I don't like to pimping low. so i'll be adjusting the
pads so that it's about 1.5 finger gap rear and 1-1.25 finger front.

Hey guys, sorry to bump an old thread but wanted to crosslink to another thread to help out anyone else coming through here looking for the info. There is a guy in iceland who has CLS rims on his w210 and he has info and photos via this thread...

Not as ideal as W211 rim offset. I'm about to give this a shot myself as I just came across a great deal on CLS rims that I just couldn't pass up.
