Primary cats gone
Got sick of the rattle, cut them and "no codes" YES
The car has more power. No primary cats or resonator. I cut the resonator 6months ago. I was preparing myself for the loud sound, once cats were out. I was surprised and happy to hear that the sound didn't get louder, it stayed the same.
I was told if I did this mod I would have to extend the O2 sensor wires to trick computer. I did not extend wires. NO codes and I'm still crossing my fingers. Two of my buddies have shops with Smog machines so I'm not worried. But I am curious to know if it passes like this. I am happy with the power I found for $140
I still have the Stock AMG muffler and secondary cats on the car.

Woooowwwwww Mike how are you mate! you need to upgrade this pipes to 2.25" - 2.5" as fast as possible. i'm sure you lost some power reducing the pipping diameter! good mod but upgrade the pipes.. is no good specialy in this place, cause it are very close to the exhaust manifolds! just my 2 cents

Nice mod man. I had my second cat and resonator removed last year and running with a SuperSprint muffler. The car is pretty loud especially in the low rpm range (below 3K). It is actually more quite after it pass the 3K. Weird.

Ok know ....what about all the old cars that don't need to be smogged and use lead in gas. My car is a lot cleaner than those bad smokers. Here in california we have too many tree hugging granola crunchers, LOL.

won't smell that hapens when a cat is not heated fully or not aged completely.
And the restriction of the narrow pipe will probably aid a bit in low end torque.
If he can get it by smog (friends in high places) will have no issues other than running rich,loosing mpg. It will still run very clean numbers.
I would still look at some high flow or universal primaries and retain the functioning o2 sensors and cat delete the secondaries and a good muffler.
