NEED to lower my 4Matic..Bad
New member on here in hopes to lower my 01 4Matic. I have done tons of searching and have not dug up much. I love my car but the height kills me. I don't have any intentions of slamming it I just want it to sit properly on the wheels. Somewhere someone mentioned B&G Suspension but I could not find a kit through them. Any help is appreciated.

i'm thinking that cut springs on the 4matic will be *much* more sensitive and
dramatic a result than spring cuts for RWD.
the OAL for the coil-over design is much shorter in the 4matic. so, a 2" drop
here will result in an overly harsh ride vs 2" drop on the RWD.
the key is modification of torsional specs.
as such, the stock shocks will undoubtedly be overwhelmed by the increase in
rebound rate of the modified springs.

2003 S210 3.8L Brabus wagon
I believe there was a set of lowering springs offered by either Kleeman or Renntec. I am leaning towards Kleeman to search there first. I know Brabus did not make anything for the 4matic and neither does H & R.

1999 e320 4matic
If a person w/ e320 thats a 4matic w210 wanted to rebuild the whole suspension and braking system & (front & back) brand new sway bar too. upgrade the tire - rims combo.
I was thinking of upgrading to a amg break system.
I mean do it the right way - no hack job..
send links to the companies that would have the right parts to do the job. not looking to create a race car, but just to upgrade a tired ol' oem system..
Any ideas?

Thanks butttt I am don't think I want to cut them due to the fact that I don't know anyone locally that I could really trust with that job. So for now I guess it will look like it has airmatic and its raised all the way up..

Looks really good. I got my Lorinser springs...whew, how long was it, maybe 5 years ago? When I replaced the springs, I also had the shocks replaced. There wasn't a big difference in ride quality and the 4Matic gap is non-existent. Considering 4Matic springs are almost next to impossible to find, cold-cutting is the most feasible method.
