I am looking for procedures on useable vacuum lines to suck up the Seafoam. I think that I have found a line that runs from just forward of the throttle body and runs across the firewall and over to the driverside behind the windshield washer tank. Does anyone know if that is a acceptable vacuum line to use? If unplugged while running, will it throw a code? I have already done sea foam in the gas tank, and in the oil, so now I am wanting to clean the upper intake track by doing the vacuum route. Any help on this is much appreciated!! Thanks!

I was shooting from the hip because I have never done it. But vacuum leaks can, and probably will, throw fuel trim codes. Better wait for ohlord's opinion!

It won't
harm anything if it tosses a code.
When you hook it up again the code will clear after a few drive cycles.
Use the vac line to the brake master cylinder.
You won't be using the brakes anyway.
Put the seafoam in a large glass cup, with engine running and someone at the pedal have them raise the idle while you just tip the hose at an angle into the seafoam. You don't want to sip too much and stall the engine.
Just let it sip away
the whole cup.
These engines run so clean such measures are hardly ever needed
But if it makes you happy,Smoke away

Thanks Ohlord! I have a rubber line with a ball needle on it and that allows for slow suction and not to cause any issues. I have done it this way on my last 4 cars. So far so good!! Thank you for the help! Maybe I will create a DIY for a sticky!

May I ask, for what reason would you inquire about something so questionable. What are you trying to accomplish??
Do you have any idea where and to what the vacuum lines are connected??
