Misfire and P0301 code

Misfire and P0301 code
Car started to misfire last night. Hooked it up to my code scanner and got P0301 misfire cylinder #1. Am I correct that #1 is the passengers side front cylinder?

Good news, bad news.
Good news.... I noticed the valve cover breather is just starting to leak so I can fix that before it gets out of control.
Bad news... I still don't know what caused the misfire. I swapped the coil with another cylinder and I still had a misfire on cyl #1. I then removed the plug wires to check their resistance and they checked out OK. I reinstalled the plug wires and the misfire went away. CEL cleared it's self out about an hour later. Been fine since.
Guess I'll just play the waiting game and see what happens.
