99 e300 Bio-Benz on 19's
Hey Gang. Just jumped into the Benz world. I bought this car with 19's and lowered. I still need to figure out just how it was lowered, but the ride is pretty stiff. I am wondering if it's the 19's or the lowering? Not unbearable, just not like stock, you know? anyway, I am thinking of maybe selling the 19's and going with 18's if it will help the ride. These rims may also be a little too "young" for me if you know what I mean. Do you think they are trying to hard or do you guys dig them? Thanks

dylan, that car is lowered. The rims look fine to me. If you want to find out how it was lowered, take off one of the wheels. Take a picture of inside the wheel well and post it on the forums and people can tell you what it is. It could be either the shocks, or the rims that are causing the rougher ride.

Hey Dylan, welcome aboard! Obviously 19" wheels with such thin tires will always cause a slightly rougher ride but I suspect it's the supension components. I agree with Nate that you should take a wheel off and figure out what types of shocks and springs are in there. Take a pic. and post it in a new thread asking for assistance in determining your suspension.

Hey everybody. Pretty new here. Here's a couple of pics of my new '98. Totally stock, with only 53k miles. I get to pick it up tomorrow!! Had to replace my 420 thanks to a nice young lady on her cell phone, deciding not to stop at an intersection a few weeks ago.
