no, that's why you buy 4300*K bulbs. They will become more blue as they reach end of life in a few years, maybe less since you went with cheapo lamps
also HID's work best when used in HID housings. Pre-facelift HID housing:

Hi all,
Longtime reader, first time poster.
I bought a new lens the other day (50mm 1.2 L for anyone who knows Canon) and did some test shots with my 1998 W210 as the subject.
(This prior one wasn't with the 50 though!)
Pretty much stock except for the blue LED interior lighting and I replaced the headlamp lenses, since the original ones were extremely aged and yellow. And I invested in a great set of tires, Bridgestone RE960AS 93W. I have a to-do list which I will post in another thread.
My goal is to make a "sleeper" of sorts.

If you shoot regularly, a great prime is an indispensable tool for your arsenal.
That being said, I love the look on your 210. Definitely giving me some ideas, especially the lighting.

I pretty much cut out the bottom and front of the air box, but away from the engine so it doesn't pull the heat. It does run a bit hotter in traffic when 80 and above, but on the freeway with 75 degrees and below, it runs colder than stock.(two of the same cars, ones modified one isn't) It sounds great when under hard acceleration, it feels/sounds like the engine is really opening up around 3500 rpm. I got my smog done the week after cutting it out, no questions asked. drop a K&N, and go to town!
i wasn't too worried with the way it looked when cut, because you can't tell when put back.

They have only rubbed on me twice since I've had them and that was because I had the car packed with 5 of us in it and a bunch of stuff in the trunk and went into a driveway a little too fast. Other than that, not a problem.
