How to remove headlights? Just a quickie.
Hey all,
I've looked at several videos about removing headlights, but most of them cover the pre-facelift model. Do I remove my headlights the same way? Mine is a facelift.
And one more, the most important one...
How should I split the glass from the light? The glass is grey and dirty inside you see :S

i'll have to go home and check my notes on headlight removal. bumper loosening
or removal is required so it isn't as quick as the 96-99.
to remove the outer lens, you will need to remove clamps and then use a
heat bun to soften the sealant (or place in 100º ish oven for a few mins).
lens is then pried out. sealant reuseable but will need to be softened again
oh...i'm re-reading your post and have a question: what year is your car?
i'm not familiar with 220s so guessing your model is not an USA release

As Raymond said you have to remove the bumper on the facelifts. I used Peter's DIY when I did mine. Once the bumper is off the headlight removal is pretty straight forward.
