2009 C300 AMG WHEELS FIT 1999 E430

Hi,

I have a chance to get a set of 18 inch AMG wheels off a 2009 C300 from a friend, will they fit my 99 e430?

Thanks,

i think you will need 20mm spacers, try and post the rim size and offset to be sure.

My offset on the e430 is 35mm and the C300 wheels are 45mm, the bolt pattern is the same.

if the rim width is 8.5 then you will need a 10mm spacer

Thanks,

So the larger mm means the wheel is tucked in more inside the fender and the lower mm it is more towards the outter?

i do not know for sure, but there is a high probability that the lug diameter/
ball seat of the 2009 wheel will be larger than the 12mm/12R of your w210.
though your smaller bolts will fit, they will lack the same/sufficient bearing
surface on the ball seat. many newer rims from MB are of the 14mm/14R
design.

also, depending the the width of the wheel between ball seat bottom and the
mounting surface of the hub, your existing lug may be the wrong depth. if
too long, the bolt will intrude in the area of the parking break. any attempt
to drive in that condition may severely damage your rear brakes.

Thanks All,

I will check the wheels out and make sure everything is cool before I just drive off. I pick this e430 up with only 40k on it and she is pretty clean I just don't care to much for the factory rims.

Thanks,
