Painting front/rear bumper and side skirts on pre-facelift
Hey everyone, I'm looking to paint the black trim on my pre-facelift w210 body color. I was wondering if I could get some advice from members on here that have already done it. Pictures would be good too 
I was wondering what grit sandpaper to use on the plastic and the side skirts.
Also, I know that painting plastic is tricky, so I want to make sure I do it right so I won't have to redo it again anytime soon.
How many coats of adhesive promoter did you use? What prep work went into it? How many coats of primer, paint, and clear?

I highly recommend doing this. Really helps update the look of the car. Prep is key. The paint will stick well to the bumper. I'd recommend getting a set of the AMG or Sport side skirts to cover up the black rubber. It will look much cleaner.

It does. There are a few people with the painted trim and it looks really good! I looked locally for side skirts, but I couldn't find any
