Types of oil in a climate over 100dg

Hello to all I am new to this forum but need to get some help on types of oils needed for my car.I just bought an E320 w210 1996 model and need some advise on what type of oil to put in it.I live on an isla were the temp here is always 90+ it gets so hot here that buy time it reaches 12Pm it is over 105 or better what type of oil should I use?0W40 5W40 10W40 not sure but its hard to get some of this oils because were I live and have to travel over 45min to an hour to a near buy mall and advise?Than

IF you can find it Mobile 1 synthetic 0w40 european formual. It is 95+ where I live for about 5 months a yr and that is what went into my MB.

Think about it...no matter how hot it gets the cooling system will control the engine temp...thus use the same oil as the rest of us (as in post 2). Now if you lived in sub zero temps that would be different.

Since you have no cold temperatures, you only need to worry about the last number in the oil viscosity ratings, the number after the W. Any oil with a 40 there will be fine. Only the folks with winter cold need worry about the number before the W. You can still concern yourself about regular or synthetic, and what brand to use.
