How your titanium bolts compare to high-strength Mercedes steel bolts?
Your add says they are stronger, but that is physically impossible.

Why is that physically impossible? Different materials have different strength characteristics.

If titanium was a weaker material than I do not think that it would be the go to material for fasteners on aerospace components.

We use grade 5 titanium which is an alloy and it is stronger than the steel that is used in the factory lug bolt.

I don't think that the NHRA would require that a transmissions bell housing be made out of titanium in the pro ranks when you can use a steel bell housing in the slower amateur ranks if it was a weaker material. The titanium can protect the driver better from a clutch explosion than a steel bell housing can.

Grade 5 is titanium alloy, not titanium.
You are right that different metal have different characteristics and titanium does not have the strength of hardened steel.
Straight law of physics.
I consider your sale pitches very misleading.

LOL, your funny.

I am misleading everyone, we are using grade 5 titanium so that means it is an alloy and you don't consider it to be titanium because it's not pure titanium which happens to be very soft until you make it an alloy.

Thanks for your input, everyone is better of because of it.

Not only on this forum we do have sponsors who "can't" explain what they are selling, but to top it, this clown is spamming for them, putting car owners in potential danger.
Titanium lugs are ban from racing and there is good reason for it.
When the titanium alloys do have good place in today's mechanics, the buyer should be informed what he is paying for, not plain brainwashed.
Here is sample how reputable sellers advertise their product.

Look at full technical data with metal characteristics.
DON'T PUT MB OWNERS IN DANGER.

so the lambo lug nuts sounds more technical but it's still alloy and grade 5 so
what's the beef/diff? there are many items banned from racing but very
acceptable (and safe) for consumer use.

The beef is that OP is selling something without proper description.
It is like comparing MB parts to URO parts.
They might look the same, but will deliver different performance.

I think you're being overly harsh and demanding and has the effect of trashing
someone's ad. If I had questions about the technical specs, I'd just ask in
diplomatic fashion. In the end, it's always caveat emptor.
