Newer style taillights on older w210s???
I will soon get the old car of my father. It's a 1997 model... with bad ***. I have some questions about it.
1) Is it possible to put these rear taillights (2000 --> 2002) on a 1997 one? YES/NO
--> 
2) Does it need to work on the coachwork?
3) I understand that it needs a work on the electrical system. Is it a big or a small work?
PLEASE USE SIMPLY WORDS. My english is very very old.....

(Yes) they will work, (No) there is no body work needed, (No) there is no electrical changes, they plug right in. The lights in the trunk will need to have the back shaved down to fit. Do a search for "taillight" in this forum.

A les americains ils sont mechants des fois 
J'ai des feux arrieres d'une E55 AMG de 2002, sur ma E320 '99. Il faut razer un peu du plastique histoire de faire rentrer les feux comme il le faut. Autrement, pas besoin de bricoles les fils electrique, tout rentre. A par que sur la mienne, j'ai etendu les fils des phares pour que il y ai plus de mou, mais c'est tout.
