can anyone recommend...
any good shops in the LA/OC area for installing and painting kits?
i'm a total newbie and i've just barely started modifying my car and i don't really know of any places i tried searching through the threads, but i didn't get far...so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
also (i don't know if i'm supposed to post a new thread for this? ), how much would it cost to install blinking light covers? i was going to try to do it myself, but it'd probably take my 9 days. and i'd probably mess something up lol.
thanks to everyone who takes the time to reply to my retarded questions!!!!

Welcome to the board! Enjoy, and post some pics when you get the kit painted & installed, as all of us would love to see it.
Pardon my ignorance...what are blinking light covers?
I've had good experiences with dealer authorized Auto Stiegler Collison Center in Reseda - 818.788.0234
Happy Modding

blinking light covers.. that one made me laugh anyways what type of kit are you installing? I cant say ive used many body shops but theones i have were not bad.. one in anaheim called anaheim autobody i think. I forgot the exact name but i was told by one of the managers at caliber motors that they do all their body work at that shop.. you can give caliber a call and double check.

blinking light covers ;p lol i didn't know how else to put it?? haha i'm such a retard.
anyway, hoooopefully *crossing fingers*, i'll be able to get a carlsson kit through mike the doctor (you rock!)...and if i do, i'm going to need to find a good place to install it. i can take it to a few places, but i don't know how good of a job they're going to do since it's going to be a hook-up. i'd rather pay the extra money to have it done well.
so going back to the "blinking light covers" (haha i should ™ that), is that going to be a total pain in the **** to install or should i just take it in? i'm thinking if it's going to take more than an hour or two, i'll just pay to have it done. i'm so lazy it's unbelievable.
p.s. i'm victoria nice to meet you guys and just as a warning, i'll be bugging everyone a helluva lot more for help

I'll look into the full kit for you. I sport sideskirts right now and i'm about to get the front bumper as well But no rear for me, I'm not too hot about it.
It's 3am, goto bed. As for me, I'm about to leave the house now and start the day!

Welcome to the fold Victoria...and especially the Carlsson fold!
But I wouldn't use replicas on the Benz.. :/ might be a hold lotta pain trying to hook it up compared to the original..
unfortunately, they don't make the original bumpers anymore..everyone seems to be concentrating on the W211's now.
You would have to spray the blinking lights (lol) first before hooking it up. I hear they're not so hard to fix..if i'm not mistaken , there was a thread about it flying somewhere..
Make sure you post some pics of your ride..before and after!

PJ Bonifacio Motorsport
Ask for PJ, he can paint/intstall the kit and the "blinking lights". He's big in the import scene, he'll be able to help you. He's number is 626-336-4595. oh, BTW he's not one of those cheap shops.
