To sum up what is "almost spoken - but not clear" - the E55 was understandably maximized by AMG for what it is is... and there are few-to-none cost effective legitimate mods to "increase" performance... of course there are those who "feel" a difference with a x-pipe - or with a carbon fiber airbox.. which are both "iffy"..
There were a rare/rare few built in the day with Kleeman supercharger... very/very rare..
The great thing is you can take a well kept E55 and drive it well past 250K miles - if you want to be DIY-perfomance buy a go-kart and have at it..

I noticed that the 211 comes with the same 5.4L V8 which is supercharged.
Is there any chance that I can purchase a charger from the 211 and install on the 210?

I've had a 210 E55 and now own a 211 E63. Fully agree with this.
No. It's not that easy. You're generally going to be looking at $10k+ for a supercharger setup.
