Alzor 803 Wheel Questions

Hello all, I have been thinking about buying Alzor 803 wheels with a 2 inch lip, (link https://www.ecstuning.com/b-alzor-pa...four/803-5kt1/). Has anybody put them on their W210 chassis and if so, were there any clearance issues with the calipers? The original wheels were 17 x 7.5 and the 803's are 17 x 8

Dave, those are nice monoblock knock-offs. I recall a few members have used those on their w210s and w202s.
Use this to determine fitment - http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

They should work depending on the ET. You need to know these values for both.

w210 AMG or S213
The17x8's should fit. It looks like the offset (ET) is 30.

Look at this site and scroll down to the w210 section https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/in.../mercedes-benz

Thankyou everybody for helping me out with those websites, they're super useful! Now if I was to buy that rim it has a larger width by half an inch. When buying new tires, would it be better to get a tire with a larger width or stick to the OEM size?

Looks like I just answered my own question, looking at other wheels for the W210 chassis it shows that other 17x8 wheels use the same tire size of 235 45 17, so it looks like I will (theoretically) be buying the OEM tire size

Your w210 is the non amg version, so you I believe your fender lips are not rolled like E55s. You'll need to verify what tires you plan to use as tire profiles do vary slightly.
Use the link provided. Tools are in your hands. Use them

At $500 per wheel I'd wait around for a set of real 18" E55 Monoblocks to come up for sale. Decent sets can be had for $2000-$2500. They'll fit your car without any rubbing. I have them on my lowered E320 wagon with no issues.

Check craigslist. I see them on there all the time for around $600 for sets that need to be refinished. I got a set of rears last fall for $300. I do like that those wheels have a larger lip but $2k is a lot for knock-offs.

I know this is an older thread, but hopefully there is a response. Did the stock lugbolts work on these wheels? I just ordered a set too but got concerned when I saw the stock bolts for the w210. I have those odd 40mm threaded area, ball seat, then smooth shaft, and a 17mm nut. Total length is 60mm. I know not to try 60mm full threaded. If I use the stock bolts would that just put the nut flush with the face of the wheel?

the stock lugs are ball seat so they should work fine for holding the wheels on. As far as the length and if they will stick out its hard to say.

Updating this in hopes it helps someone else out. It has been a debacle getting the right size lug bolts for the Alzor 803s on a pre-facelift w210. Stock bolts DO NOT WORK. @ECS Tuning says they will, but unlike the e320 16 inch wheels where they sit flush, the bolts will stick out further. So I purchased 12Mx1.5 40mm bolts with a ball seat (yes this aftermarket wheels takes ball seats). The 40mm shaft was ok for the front but for some reason they are hitting the hub in the rear. My fantastic indy shop has been helping me, so I should know my tomorrow what the shaft length is for the rear.

All you need to do is to measure the cross section of the wheel, between the hub face and the bottom of the ball seat concave.
Add .25". The .25" will the the threads sticking out the wheel and will thread into the hub...enough for a secure grab but will not
be too long and impact the parking brake. The combined measure is the lug bolt shank (threaded portion) you should be looking for.
