Has anyone else had bad experiences at the dealer such as damage,scratches,dirty interior or the like? Or is this phenomenon unique to the East coast? Its like they put a nice face on the leaving of the car,reception etc,and then give it back worse than when you brought it there.What gives

I am having them paint my right front fender,six inch long scratch compliments of the nitwits who jockey the cars in and out. Or walking by it and somehow scratched it.In fact,Im standing there waiting for my car,when this little zipperhead screeches the tires on an S55 AMG,gets out giggling and Sh%t.Naturally,I let the Rep know.It like a comedy act or a bad science project.

I'm gonna say that's an East coast thing,speaking for myself only. I've never had that kinda situation at my MB dealer or Scion dealer. I've never had any problems other than mild heart failure...but that was due to the shock of the estimates....NOT the service.

kinda tried to post my full story and if you do a search i got screwed by the dealer and after 5 mins that i left, went in and complained about the same problems and they wanted to re-charge me, it was a mess and its something that i'm taking them to small cliams court....

Have to say that when I brought the car in for a scheduled check-up...A or B, I don't recall now...anyway, my car REEKED of mens cologne EVERY time I turned on the A/C. It was rather disgusting. That was a few months ago & it is just now starting to dissipate. Maybe the mechanic/hired help had just come back from lunch & slathered himself down before handling the air filters or something? Not sure.

The car was also dirtier then when I left it (dusty & interior dirt smudges) but no damage or real problems other than those two...funny, my invoice said it got a detail job! LOL

this is one of my biggest peeves!!!! every time i pick up either of my cars tat the MB dealer,, the seat is all askew, the A/C or heat is no longer on Auto and has been put on either High or Lo and the radio station has been changed,,, They drive the car 500 feet , why do they need to reconfigure the whole dang car?????

2nd and the same with the idiots who drag race pulling the cars in and out of the service bays. I once caught one thinking he was micheal shumacher pulling my car around a tight corner (one lane with traffic going both ways) needless to say I gave him a nice

This has gotta stop,I mean,Im tired of getting loaner cars after they screw mine up.Now maybe I go to the big guy.I hate complaining,but like my dear departed Dad told me,"Son,dont let them sh*t all over ya,open your mouth"

It was "House of Imports" in Buena Park, CA.

They sent me a survey a few weeks later via email & I did let them know about it...will comment next time I bring it in for service to keep the fragrances down please

Had a terrible experience with Fletcher jones of Newport Beach. They broke my front headlight, cracked the windshield. Hell they tried to pin the cracked windshield on me, but after a talk with the manager they fixed it. When my wife took the E55 in for service they flat out were rude and treated her with no respect.

Well Laguna Niguel has been a very nice experience so far, no problems with the service advisors or anyone there. They carefully wash the cars, and treat every single person and car with more respect than one could ask for.

I mean ,,,you're right man!! How much effort does it take to hit the memory button for ya?Well in case anyone cares,its finally 20 days since they marred up my fender and they've had the car for 24 hrs. I havent heard from the Rep,she's cranky.I should have put up a before and after photo,Whitey will surely yell.
Im in love with the car,its truly rare,along with the things I've done but how much can a body take? I wonder what the average BMW owner has to say?
I do know this,if we were talking US products we would have kicked it to the curb by now,no?
