Welp, I've decided to sell my E500

That is unless I take a huge bath on it. Anyway, I didn't think I could part with it, but I can't talk myself into keeping it if I get the Noble (see red car below). Maybe its a mistake, but I have to give something up to validate it. Most likely I will get an older 210 as a daily driver. If I happen to win the lotto or get on the Board of Directors of a local co - things might change.

Its a sweet car - special ordered with almost every option. I know I should part out my mods, but I'd rather keep it simple. 67K sticker price, 3K wheels, euro navi, wood wheel, euro strips, suspension. 23K miles.

I know I will probably regret it If you guys know anyone or if anyone here is interested, PM/email me. Asking 53K.

I had it sold for I think 56K a few months back, should have taken it but I backed out

edit: I forgot- my lease is pretty good on it - $800 even incl. tax for CA. orig was 39 mos, 49Kish miles, if one was interested in assuming it.

After Steve evend out the suspension:

I was just reading up alittle on the Noble M12 and daum...that's a fast car. 0-60MPH in 3.3sec....WOW! It's too bad you have to sacrifice the E500 but I think once you get the Noble it will ease the pain of letting go of the E500. It'll be replaced by a big grin after mashing the pedal and carving the twisties on the M12. Good Luck!

Thanks! hopefully someone will talk some sense into me and make me keep it. 3.3 is optomistic, 3.5 is more like it for most drivers, but still! You are right, it has insane performance for the money. There are only about 100 in the states right now. Growing everyday in popularity (and wait time)

Actually, I'd rather do that as usually you don't get much for the mods. Would help out with my neg. equity. What is it you'd want? If I dont sell the car right away, they're yours

I'm interested in the Euro COM, steering wheel, and possibly the wheels ..... but this is all considering you have the stock OEM stuff to replace these....

You worried about reliability with the Noble? I thought I had read that it was pretty poor, with some pretty lousy customer service. Again, not sure it was the Noble.

A little. But I have been following this car for a while and been speaking with owners. Car seems more reliable than my E..... or any MB for that matter. no electronics to go wrong. Its a ford engine, what can happen? Oil pump is 80 bucks, new engine is (long block) is 4K. There have been no substantial problems that I'm aware of - most are related to poor engine installations. Some headlight seal issues. About it.

If he doesn't take the euro strips, I'll take them off your hands. Let me know how much you want for them and method of payment.

Can't believe you're selling your pride and joy. But that Noble sure looks sweet.

I'd be interested in the Euro comand as well, but looks like I am too late.

Well, im gonna try to put together another W211/MB BBQ at my house again. Hopefully sometime this month - last minute, but its just gonna be kick back, enjoy food, etc. One last fare-well..

I dont know what I could sell the euro navi for - 2K? I'd have to go buy an american one and pay to get it swapped out, might not be worth it unless you want to have someone do it at the same time.

Removing that COMAND is very easy, much easier than previous MB models. I think I have a video clip of how it's done. Need to dig it up.

Bumper Strips

Hey Brav,

Haven't spoken to ya in while! I was the one that was thinking of buying the car from you.

While it's a bummer that you'll be selling it for the Noble, think also about what you'll be replacing it with... that should ease the pain.

I might buy the euro strips and whatever else might be for sale if you are having the BBQ!

Talk to ya soon!
