I suspect that Drive Clean is a petroleum based (Base 3) oil that Mobil is calling a synthetic. They can do it and have done it with their 30 weight Mobil 1 oils.
Either change your own oil using one of the oils meeting Mercedes 229.5 specs or take your car to a Mercedes dealer who will use an oil meeting those specs (most likely 0W-40 Mobil 1 in the U.S.)
Mobil Clean 7500 is formulated from a combination of synthetic and conventional quality base stocks.
Specifications & Approvals
Mobil Clean 7500 Meets the following industry specifications:
API SM
API SL
API SJ
API CF
API CD
ILSAC GF-4
GM 6094M
FORD WSS-M2C930-A
FORD WSS-M2C929-A
Somehow, I don't see any MB specs for this oil. I will stick with the M1 0-40 European formula for my E320s.

When Porsche first started putting 0W-40 Mobil 1 in at the factory, it wasn't available in the U.S. They told people to use 15W-50 Mobil 1.
