Las Vegas MB Employee Discount Sale
Fletcher Jones has a huge ad in today's paper indicating a Employee Discount Sale on ALL 2005 inventory. The ad indicates any 2005 model can be purchase at $100 over invoice.
I have not been a sales customer at Fletcher Jones in LV since they are not known for dealing aggressively for a sale. I am purchasing my 2006 R Class from a dealer in Mississippi since it was indicated to me by a salesperson at FJ that they would be selling it at list.
I thought I would post this for perspective E Class buyers not knowing the market for the 2005 models. Whether the sale price can be further lowered??? The phone # is 702-364-2700.

I doubt you will find any discount in the Part Department...although Scott did help me out with a Wood/Leather steering wheel purchase.
Good luck during your visit...

Fletcher Jones (Newport) Sucks
Noticed a nail in my tire this morning. Since I work in Irvine not far from F-J, I called their service dept to inquire if they could recommend anyone nearby. The service receptionist insisted I bring the car to them because "we have the right equipment" and promised I'd be in and out in an hour.
I arrive well before 11:00 and a "service advisor" walks up. First thing he looks at before he even says hello is the small M-B Laguna Niguel sticker on my windshield. From that point on it all went south. Last November when I was in the market for my car I visited their sales department. When they figured out I wasn't going to buy from them that very moment they dropped me like a hot potato. Now the same attitude is evident at their service department as well. Those idiots at F-J have an obvious holier-than-thou-attitude and only seem to care about leasing to the already over-extended masses who can't otherwise afford a purchase. I'll never spend a dime at Feltcher (not misspelled, look up the slang) Jones M-B.
Oh, and back to the topic at hand... for clarification purposes MBUSA has at least two forms of employee pricing that I know of. The "professionals" who work at dealerships get approximately 12% below MSRP on an E-class. Corporate MBUSA employees get approximately 24% below MSRP on an E-class. There are a few restrictions on both types of employee discounts.
So before anyone goes to Mr. Feltcher with checkbook in hand, compare the numbers first.

However, I have had great service with my non-FJ purchases. My SA has been great and always gets me a MB loaner. If only their sales department had the same attitude!

4 wheeled car.
dac biet dohma Fletcher! lol
Fletcher in newport are dumb. The general manager back when I had to deal w/ them, Alysson I think was his name, was cool.
Fletcher in Vegas is cool though. I was in Vegas for a weekend when my alternator went out. They gave me a brand new E320 w211 wagon to drive for 4 days (Sat through Tuesday), back in July '04 when it was barely coming out
. I like their free iced teas in the starbucks too

It must be a slow month for everyone. Here's an email I received from the local dealer. Nothing prior to this talked about discounts:
"We are 50% off our pace of the previous month. Management will accept any reasonable offer on any aged vehicles on the property.
ALL 2005 C Class, E Class, S Class and SL Class Mercedes Benz vehicles will be discounted well below Invoice (dealers cost) GUARANTEED. The
Internet Specialists will show you the invoice, AMG-High performance vehicles excluded. It is illegal to forge or alter an invoice in any way, so you can be assured you are buying the vehicle for UNDER INVOICE. Buy a new car for the price of a one or two year old used car!!!
Buy a C230 SPORT with CD changer, moonroof and automatic transmission which lists for over $33,750 for $29,999.00.
Buy a SL500 or SL600 for $10,000 to $15,000 off.
Savings on ALL C, E, S and SL models. Save $4,500 to $15,000 on 2005s."
