so what are you driving around on right now? I figure it has to be something..you wouldn't just have your MBZ up on blocks waiting for wheels/tires...just curious what you figured out

I should take pics of the car right now b4 I get rims tomorrow. I didn't want to tow the car without rims, so I'm borrowing some from the shop to slap on tomorrow. Here's a before pic. These rims had a ddc lip. I might stick with them just for that reason. I want some strong rims, even though I like some other rims better. What sucks is that I thought about the safety of the car everyday b/c I'm not used to living in an apartment(I'm moving in January). Granted, I have garaged parking, but it's nothing like coming home to your own garage and parking the car. Gates at complexes do nothing.

Thinking about getting some brushed rims this time around. Still undecided.

I ended going with Auto couture Magnifique ex in polished silver(brushed). Chrome is nice on white, but it's a little too bling bling at times.

same **** happened to me 5 years ago on my old c class. came out in the AM and my **** was on cinder blocks. the cops told me i was "lucky" that the dudes were nice enough to leave my car on blocks and not on the ground on its rotors. btw, locks are just a deterrent not full proof by any means, especially in nyc.

l sportline model one. They were originally purchased because of the strength of the wheel. They have a ddc lip. HRE's or other wheels can't touch it. I wanted to get them again b/c of the ddc lip, but the wait is 6-8 weeks.

locks don’t mean wheels cant be taken.... they are just a deterrent for the non persistent.

The few people i know that had their wheels stolen all had locks. I didn't even bother with locks on my car. If they are gonna take the time to steal them, they will got threw the lock in no time.
