Ah.. what a bit of sweat, and some Zaino can do to a car!
I spend two days stripping, claying, and Zaino(ing) the car.. this included every surface, chrome, wheels, glass, etc..
here you go...
yes, clear bra.. and there is a bit of clay bar buildup on the lines so they show more than normal.. that will go away over the next couple of days..
here are more pics at the "Detail forum".. pardon the camera talk!

Not questioning your technique but did you apply it lightly and was it completely dry before you started buffing off? It's my experience that it should pretty much wipe off IF it was applied thinly and it is completely dry before I buff it off. There is sometimes an occasional thick streak that needs a light buffing to remove.
Beautiful end results, regardless.

E55&993: Yes, did a great job $450 and 1 hour.. over at the Penske dealer N. Scottsdale, near the Acura dealer.. He's called "Ultra Shield" and uses 3M film (the newest type).. 602-694-6979.. He might remember Sam with the blue CDI..
rdtjr: Yes, apart from using the ZFX (strange how that tiny amount makes a difference).. here in Arizona the air is EXTREMELY dry and the stuff dries with in 1 hour without the ZFX anyway.. I did the first two coats 1 hour apart, the 3rd in the AM about 12 hours later.. I then used Z-8 between each coat, and will continue to buff with Z-8 till the bottle is gone!

jimbo: I had the stuff sitting around for weeks, but finally got the energy to do it right.. with the clay bar, etc.. worth it, you are 100% right.

I'll be the CLS, by it's very nature; a sleek smooth design, takes very well to Zaino.. It's amazing how well it does even on the chrome.
But you took me aback when you said the dealer did your Zaino... Really? Don't get me wrong, I somewhat enjoyed doing it, and I did hit every nook, door jam, wheel, and cranny of the car myself, but it would be nice to pay someone to do subsequent coats..
email me the dealer you used, and the cost.. I may use them for "follow-up coats"

Looks nice and sharp for a drive through a dust storm with nary a particle sticking to her! I'm too lazy to go to the other thread, but I'm sure the other pictures look awesome.

I just had my wife's Benzo detailed by my "guy" that I've had to my vehicles for 6 years now and it looks awesome. I might try the Zaino route on my Lexus and see how it looks comparatively.
Speaking of airport
there was a C750 that landed with no nose gear the other morning. He didn't want a flyby, didn't want to burn fuel, didn't want to wait until daylight (it was 6:15 am), he just wanted to land and get out. I think he had to go poopie!
Neato spark show, tons of paperwork, then they scraped the plane off the runway (sling and sled). Poor thing...plane that is!

I didn't hear about that one! I would have sooner **** in my pants than take all of those risks! Was it one of Swifts? do you know? Do you know the N number?
or was it a QS?
odd behavior indeed

EDIT: Just called a good friend flies for Swift, said that 145CX had a nose up landing about 2 weeks ago, was that it you think?

Where did you get the Zaino products that you used?
btw... I've got a monster truck to rival yours (by an order of magnitude): https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....61&postcount=1

Do let me know what you find about our crunched up airplane.
