Will the SL wheels fit the W211?

Hi

I have seen a set of wheels for sale:
8.5 x 18 et 35 on the front, with 255 40 18
9.5 x 18 et 40 on the rear, with 285 35 18

These came off a SL500 (R230). Does anyone know if these will fit the W211 saloon?

Thanks for the replies.

I need some further clarification on the offsets. The wheels I am looking at are as described in the original post. I have seen another set of SL wheels previously sold on ebay with the sizes:

Front 8.5J x 18" ET30

Rear 9.5J x 18" ET33

Now the offsets are different from the ones in OP. So does anyone know if the wheels in the OP are SL wheels which will fit the w211?

Thanks

Sorry for the threadjack, but does anyone know if wheels from the Sport S-class (w220) fit a w211?

Specs on the wheels are:
8.5x18 et44
9.5x18 et46

I would love to get my hands on a used set of SL65 rims (charcoal finish) but I remember reading somewhere about rubbing issues. How much do each wheel weigh and are spacers required?

That will be close on the inside. You may need spacers (god forbid). A test fit is all that can tell. I would guess that an et of 37 would be ideal.

+1 I would avoid like the proverbial plague. A single FB that's a negative from a bookseller and he
wants to sell thousands of dollars worth of rims pictured in stock photos. Yikes !!
