Annoying Beeping (seatbelt)

The dealer can disable it ( or set it to beep once or twice then stop). It is very annoying!

I just bent my hotel card from Vegas in half, then stuck it in the slot. Tricks the thing into thinking your seatbelt is clipped. I wouldn't recommend this though because about a month ago I saw a cop car at the intersection and I started trying to take the card out and put my seatbelt on but all the fumbling caught the cop's attention and I got a ticket (plus points). Moral of the story: Disable the .... errr... wear your seatbelt.

Well...
If it takes more trouble to disable the seatbelt then putting it on each time, then its not worth it.
However, I come home very late, park on the street and have to move the car every day before 7 AM. I need to drive 2 streets to the garage in dowtown Manhattan. There is no reason to put on a seatbelt that early in the morning, especially if I am driving at the same speed as the bums are crawling. So the beeping annoys the hell out of me those mornings.
Anyway, thanks fo the concern

seat belt chime
If anyone figures out how to disable I would appreciate it. I place my laptop on the passengers seat after work, that sets off the chime. I always forget and get about 5 minutes down the road and realize that I either have to buckle in my laptop or put it in the back seat...that usually entails taking my seat belt off...
If anyone knows how to disable the chime I would appreciate the knowledge.
I wear my seatbelt but do not feel my laptop should always have to!!!!
Thanks,
Kevin M
