I had calipers painted on my previous bmw 330i. There are off the shelf paint made specifically for this purpose, please don't goto home depot tho. Any of the rice rocket tuner shops in your area will either have or know how to get that paint package, which consist of a bottle of degreaser and a bottle of high heat paint (color is your choice). If i remembered correctly, the paint package plus having the shop clean and painted it professionally (somewhat) costed less than a bill. The paint quality was really good and for the 3 years i had the callipers painted, it shined like new.

or if you want to make the whole thing looks even more custom, check this out:

imho, may look a little chessy tho.

According to my understanding, this is a cover that glues onto the original caliper, covering it up fully. Blazor form i believe is one of the form factors that original brembos use. If you check that sellers store on ebay, you will see other form factors as well.

I have not used this product and not planning to use it. I am just in a strange situation with my e350 that i am almost reluctant to mod it, seems like whatever i do will take away from the car. I have been moding all my cars, except the first one, and to an aggressive extent in most cases as well. The only mod i have so far on the E350 is the 8000k xenon headlight upgrade.

Let us know if u do try that cover. It looks to be of good quality from the pics on ebay =)

Putting Brembo plastic covers over your calipers is like putting an E55 badge on a non E55 car or putting hub caps on your E to look like rims. Consider carefully if this is what you really want.

I am looking for a caliper solution and am considering swapping to AMG or just going the caliper paint route.

i'd do it for kicks. i have no plans to upgrade my calibers, but with recent
move to 18" rims, the ugly stock calipers are more visible. painting them seem
silly, as they simply highlight and draw attention to cheap *** brakes. none-
theless, they do the job well enough for me in casual E320 driving. provided
there were no functioning problems, i'd consider the fake covers. though in
no hurry to do so.

My dealer quoted me $2884.23 for 4 calipers, 4 rotors and pads, list was $3927.80 he told me but I get a discount for joining a car club at $45/yr. This is parts only and does not include install, I would have that done by a mechanic I know, it's a direct bolt on I have been told and fairly easy install. I am looking at alternative sources for the calipers, possilby a low mileage wrecked E55 or from someone who switched to a different brake. I already have 18" AMG's so clearance is not an issue.

I am surprised on the support these Brembo caliper covers are getting, to me it is no different than putting an E55 badge on a non E55 car.
