Just had mine done...
Told the dealer to call me and tell me the damage first.
They wanted $ 500 for:
Oil change
brake fluid change
dust filter replacement
Saftey inspection
i told them do the brake fluid & Oil change, 260.00 for both.

Man that's some wack crap.
Called the stealer and they told me service D is variable and they'd need to hook it up to figure it out? It's like walk into the trap and I'll show ya.
Also quoted me almost $500 for a service B on my gf 02 S500. Man, I bet this is where MB makes all their money.
I called the shop that normally work on my BMW who is also a Mercedes specialist and got a quote for my service D @ $150
dropping it off on sat.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Fletcher Jone had a special for service B @ $349 so we're going to get the w220 done their.

I agree...
MB is not going to retain me as a customer by charging me $500 for service D at 25K miles. On top of that, you get the generic, well we hvae to plug the car in the computer to tell you wath the actual cost will be.
These cars are good, i have a hard time believing they need that much work on them. I think its a nice revenue generator for their dealers IMO.
