Where did you get your EURO COMAND? All questions answered!
I bought from non-sponsor advertisement and I recieved the unit in a decent time. Yes, it came from lithuania and I was a bit scared, but I went through it and I got one for less than 1/2 of what some people sell them for on here.
Euro command part #'s:
Model 7039:
This unit has no TV input and no output for headrest TV's. You can play DVD's just fine once the engineering menu is enabled.
Model 6036:
This unit has TV input and Aux out plugs so you can add headrest TV's if you want. You can play DVD's just fine once the engineering menu is enabled.
Other usefull info:
1. Click here for the step by step guide to activate the EURO COMAND
(Thanks to steve.link for this!)
2. Only some early 2003 US cars come with a DVD player. so if you have a 2003.5 or later CLS or E-class these instructions WILL NOT WORK ON YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU SWAP TO A EURO COMAND. Dont ask "Does this work on my 2005 W211 car with US comand?"
3. It should cost less than $200 for dealer install.
Why am I writing this? I get about 4-5 PM's a week asking for advice. I am happy to give it, But hopefully this can clear up some of the basics.
Questions? Post in here, Ill reply or one of the other people that know about Euro comands will.

Sorry amdeutsch, take a look around. This site is chock full of members sharing positive experiences with "non-sponsors". That's what makes a forum helpful. A short while ago I posted my positive experience with MB of Traverse City and would refer customers there all day long. They're not a site sponsor and I don't recall being accused of "advertising" for them, nor did a moderator pull out the dealers name. Come to think of it, Mercedes Benz isn't even a site sponsor. Perhaps you should go through every posting and edit out their name. We wouldn't want any members to "advertise" for them. Some guy buys a product off eBay, has a good experience with it, wants to share it with other members, and you pull it? Give me a break.

Anyone on here that said they got great dealer service at "XXXX dealer" should also be censored. Double standards are a *****, I am not getting anything out of saying where I got my euro from, I am just looking out for fellow members on here. Thats the only thing I am guily of.
Now this thread sucks, thanks to someone "over-modding" this post.
well, all i have to say is ?????????????? ???????? ????????????? ?????????? ??????????????????? that ?????? ?????????? ??????????? ?????this ??? ?????? ?????????????? ???? ??????
sucks ????? ?????? ????????????.
That being said it is the moderators job to do just that and we all have to respect that otherwise anarchy, death and destruction might befall our little place here on the WWW
If I am wrong, please show me!
Example:
My dealer is R+H Motorcars in Baltimore, and they do great work. I recommend them. (will that get edited out?)
You can search one of my earlier posts on instructions and a step by step picture guide.

That can't sound good. I wonder where all these Lithuania units come from?
