E430 I-forged to E500

All feedback is highly appreciated. I have a 2000 E430 with 19" I-forged staggered wheels..the offset is 35mm. I am planning to get a 2003 E500. According to tirerack..the offset for this car varies like +28mm and 32mm..would that make a lot of difference or should i use a spacer. Both is the same 5x112. Have anyone experience some issue or problem.

not sure of the W210, but my offsets are:

front +28 on 8.5" rim
rear +36 on 10" rim

hope that helps

W210 wheels WILL NOT FIT W211 because W211 uses 14mm lug bolts and W210 uses 12mm lug bolts.

"Offsets" are irrelevant.

right!! totally forgot about that!

I read a thread where someone put W211 E55 rims on a W210, and ordered hybrid lug bolts to make it fit. Not sure if you can do the reverse?

How you gonna get 14mm shaft through 12mm hole?

it's a custom made bolt. it tapers down. that's why it's called "hybrid". I read about it from another board member. I think he ordered online from Seattle?

This is true for Factory Wheels and AMG Wheels. Most other wheels are hybrids accepting both 12-14mm.
