Cargo Net Floor Connectors '07 Trunk
From the Factory, are there still the 4 Cargo Net Floor Connectors in the '07 Trunk Floor? Back in '04, they were there, all I had to do was go to the parts department & buy the floor net (which didn't come with those connectors) so all I did was snap the new net to the plastic floor connectors. Are those connectors still included in the '07s trunk floor if you don't order the floor net from the factory?

Floor nets required changed with 2007 models, i.e. earlier nets are different.
Also, there are different nets (for pre-2007 models at least) depending on whether car has foldable rear seat backs.
MBUSA is confused on this, as they do not stock in USA the floor net for the foldable seat models.
Part numbers for the various nets are here (page 14)

These part numbers are valid worldwide and if your dealer tells you otherwise it's simply because MBUSA doesn't stock them

Bag Hooks are new for '07. I ask because I kept the cargo net I bought from the Parts Dept. from my '04 & would feel awfully stupid if the '07 didn't have the plastic tie down hooks in it, unless the net was ordered from the factory! Oh well... we shall see.

Barry, my '07 (with folding rear seats) has large metal d-rings in each corner of the trunk, as well as two more in the rear seat footwell. They are extremely sturdy, and fold flush when not in use. They may only be included on the cars with folding seats. Maybe someone who has a fixed rear seat on an '07 can tell us if they have the metal rings or the useless little plastic clips like my '05 had.

I don't haul anything in the car. I just like to slide the "doggie Bag" from the restaurant under the net to keep it from sliding around the trunk. The plastic net mounts & net work perfectly to that end.
I also use a universal fit Weather Tech trunk mat (not trunk liner) under the net so things don't slide or spill or stain.
