2007 E350 Sport Obsidian Black & 2005 Cadillac Escalade
Picked up New E350 Sport
Just picked up my New 2007 E350 Sport Prem1 / Obsidian Black / Brown Burl Walnut & it looks gorgeous. Affraid to drive it until I get the 3M Clear Bra installed on the frond end. (this definitely worked on my last car). The only imperfection I find is the factory creases (dents) under all of the door handels in the sheet metal. The front doors are by far more noticable. Every New E-Class on the lot had this problem. Has anyone else noticed this. I'm sure it is more apparant on darker colored cars. My last C-Class also had a minor case of this. When I first purchased my 2003 C-Class, the Paintless dent repair guy said that some automakers had more of this from how the door handle was stamped out than others. None-the-less, I still love the car

I'll try to take some better pics soon, weather permitting... And of course every time I walk past the garage door I have to have a quick peak & worship the car! Also love that new car smell that fills the air (better than freshly baked cookies). The last pic is also my 2003 C240 that will be turned in end of April with only 20,000 miles. Seems a shame to let it go w/ such few miles. Still looks new!

The E's seem to be rolling off the boat.
Didn't realize you could delete black walnut on the sport pkg. Gotta find 3M installer, too. Maybe Barry has a lead here on the Island

I believe in November they made the Burl Walnut on option for the Sport Pkg. It's listed as "Designo Burl Walnut W60" at a cost of $290. I also like the black wood however with the Black Interior it just wasn't noticable.

Congrats on the beautiful new ride. Thanks for sharing. It keeps me going. My salesman called today and said our car has arrived. Working through Saturday, so we'll try to pick up on Sunday. I'll post pics as soon as I can. Enjoy your new wheels.

I agree that the black wood is totally lost in the black interior. I think the Brown Wood on black really pops! I didn't mind the black wood on mine, since in the ASH interior the wood falls between 2 different shades of gray plastic dash material, so it too pops. Enjoy the car !!

Congrats on the new ride. I have an 2003 E320 with a sport package that I love. But, I have heard that the new 7 speed transmission and the 350 motor really make this car so much better. I may need to go to my local dealer and take a test drive.
