Sick of waiting for ARGOS...can someone confirm these part#'s for OEM bluetooth
The reason I say it was sort of a dissapointment is because of the lack of navigation control with it. My last vehicle was a 2004 acura TL. It didn't ride as nice but it came with all of this standard. I could say things like "find nearest <insert whatever>" possibilities included <insert type> restaurant, gas station, atm, bank, shopping etc etc etc
I still like it though. Also, is it normal for the phone system to stay on? I'd disconnect from the system when exiting the car and the phone and car would continue to "re-pair" and transfer my call back to the car. Even after it was locked? Is that going to be a problem with my battery?
Check out the ARGOS thread on this forum and my post on the puck with tail ( or do a search ;-)
Thanks all.

I'd give them one more chance. If they don't actually improve, then we'll hunt for another vendor.
Anyone see this newsletter from Argos?
I bit late, eh? They're claiming they're 1 month away. That seems like a familiar projection...

Thank god we figured out how to go OEM for 1/2 the price
I recently followed the installation described and I am not getting anywhere. To begin with, I installed the components and paired my phone. All seemed to be ok. Upon bringing my car to MD and being charged $125 - my car still does not work. The MB tech said I needed the Linear Compensator and without that the phone is not going to work.
I found that hard to believe based on what you guys have stated and left pissed off.
At this point the phone is still not working. I am getting the "Please Insert Phone" dialog on the screen as stated.
How can I test the installation on my end? Should I atleast hear the phone through the speakers, etc. I am using a Moto Q phone - not sure if that makes a diff or not.
Any information would be helpfull.
Thanks in advance.

You definitely DO NOT need the linear compensator. I did not install it and mine works fine. It did take the dealer some time to figure out how to version code the car though. The original tech kept telling me that it couldn't be done. Finally, the shop foreman got involved and he had it done in 5 minutes.
What dealer in MD did you take your car to? I took mine to EuroMotorCars-Germantown. Maybe you'll have better luck there.
.I've tried the razor and treo 700p from verizon and they paired and downloaded the phone book easily.
thank you guys for this wonderfull thread, and by the way can someone figure out a way to improve the NAV system.
