COMAND Navigation Guide
My DVD-based navi works at times[drive is in the trunk]... but when i drove a few days back it did not know my actual position and placed me in a few streets away from where I was...
It never managed to relocate my actual position - I ended up disconnecting my navi drive from the wires in the trunk a few times and in about a day and a half it was up and running perfectly again.
I didn't install a GPS splitter, but rather disconnected my Teleaid and put the navi antenna cable in its place - my MFD shows 1 malfunction, the TeleAid...maybe that's causing the GPS to go nuts after a little while of working?
Anyone got a navi guide I can read through or any tip on using the navi system?

My DVD is sadly set to region 2.

I have a Bluetooth V60 puck that uses my telephone.
The GPS is up and working normally again - I suppose it may have mis-positioned itself due to me taking a detour on a route or me hitting the detour button.
And God bless whoever may find a way to access the engineering menu.

..It looks like your comand got "locked up"...I have the service cd to flash the software. That might reset the access to the enginering menu.
I've heard trying to rollback the software on the comand will freeze it and make it unusable...have you used the CD yourself? If so why?
Thanks for the help though
This is how it started https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/159952-euro-comand-froze-up.html
