Installed my OEM Bluetooth system today...

Got er done just a couple minutes ago. Pretty easy if you follow the DIY. took me an hour. The hardest thing was taking the Tele-Aid connector off, but after that, everything was straight forward. Did a test call and I could hear the call through the speakers. I'll take it to be coded tomorrow.

The pairing of the phone challenged me a little, but the Razr is pretty easy to figure out.

There really is no reason to unhook the TelAid connector. The reason it appears they want you to do that is in the Merc instructions is when you use a drill to punch out the holes, I guess they want you to have it on the shop bench or something.

It made it easy for me to drill out the hole and punch out the one on the side for the coil-cord. It was actually quite easy once I figured it out. I first pushed the Tele-Aid button out of the false floor, and then I pulled out the connector. You basically pull firmly and it comes right out.

What do I need to tell the dealer to recode? DO I just show him the DIY PDF?

I just told them that my phone is not activated and it needs to be turned on.

That was it.

Forgive my naivety but what is it you installed? Where did you get it and what does it cost?

I have a RAZR V3 and a 3/04 build E320. Will it work?

Thanks in advance.
