AMP or SubWoofer Noise Problem Really Annoying Please Help

I have a '03 E320 that is making a "blop"/"thud" noise from the rear BIG SPEAKER guessing its the subwoofer that is really annoying. It started doing that to my knowledge when i didn't even have the radio on. It makes a noise that a radio might make when NOT tuned to any channel and in between all that its makes that blop blop sound. "blop" sounds is sorda like knocking on the cardboard. sound comes when radio on or not and even for sometime after the car has been turned off but than eventually stops after turning the car off. Please help. thanks

for now i took out the fuse but that ofcourse turns off everything, and aslo everything is stock in the card

any help would be highly appreciated

disconnect it

disconnect the speaker, same thing was happening to mine, first what I did was lower the BASS all the way to 0 - then I disconnected it.

Shouldn't be sound coming from sub unless audio is powered up. Could be dealing with vapor recovery cannister purge valve noises. Check this out, esp #12. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/176102-07-e350-knocking-noise-when-stopped.html

Sure sounds like the sub.... Sounds like somehow there's a current surge running through it. Weird.

sub

I would take it to a sound place. where they install alarms and sound systems, because it also seems it might be a wire touching something it should not be touching.

well i took it to one but not sure if he knew what he was talking about. He said since MB uses fiber optic cable he can't do a whole lot. He gave me 3 options. 1st to install everything new w/ new wiring. 2nd to disconnect to sub for around $100 i think and 3rd to buy a new amp from the dealer n have them fix/install it.

i am prob. gonna get a 2nd opinion on it though
