Washed, waxed, clayed, and my lastest mods...**PICS**

So I gave her the royal treatment this weekend. Washed, clay bar, wash again, and wax. Plus some pics of my last 4 mods.
  1. E63 type spoiler
  2. Phone retrofit with bluetooth module
  3. Power folding mirrors
  4. Slotted/Drilled rotors

And some random pics. I'm no professional photographer, thats for sure. And it's so hard to get shine on a silver car to show up on camera. Anyway, here they are. And for some reason, my airmatic was having a tall day.

Good memory! Yeah, I washed her C240 too that day and popped in the garage because the pollen was out of control. The R500 sat out all day and night in the driveway and was completely yellow this morning. Luckily, I took in for it's first scheduled maintenance ($350.00 CHA CHING) and they wash it up for me.

Your car looks very handsome with striking wheels and the E63 spoiler.
How did you manage to install folding mirrors ? Are they available through any MB dealership ?

The folding mirrors are a European option. You can get them from MBenzNL on this board. I think they're 750.00 or something like that. PM him or BIGSIS and they'll take care of you. I did the install myself in about 3 hours without instructions.

Nah man. The seller says it's bad work by the body shop and the body shop says it bad product. So I'm kinda fooked. My dumb *** installed it before rectifying the situation so I'm partly to blame. The good new is, that the imperfections are only visible to someone really looking close at it. The bad news is, I'm one of those people.

Hey, Benz-O-Rama your detailing looks great but to really complete the job, clean off the mufflers and outlet pipes with soap and a brush and see how they shine! Unless of course, they have been attacked by the salt demon.

The rear exhaust system is very visible from behind and really can look quite good if you add it to your cleaning regiment.

I know, I know...

I was running out of steam by the end. After washing our nanny's C-class, mowing and fertilizing my yard then the 4 steps on my E, I was pooped.

Hmmmm,

Did some digging but couldn't find much out about that part number. Some kind of turn signal or turn signal bulb, maybe?

End the suspense!

Thanks Konigs....I was close.

I think I like the one I have though. They kinda match the middle running lights.
